A Round Hole Isn’t Always Enough.

Drill a starter hole, then shape the opening with the serrated sides—for small adjustments in suitable materials.

When the fit needs adjusting

The Hole Is There. The Fit Isn’t.

Sometimes an opening needs a little more room—or a short slot instead of a circle. A drilling tip is only part of that job.

  • Start the opening with the drilling tip.
  • Widen or shape it using the serrated section on suitable material.
  • Keep the same bit fitted when both tasks suit your setup.

Get to know the setup

Prepare. Drill. Shape.

Open each step for a quick overview. Follow your drill and accessory instructions for the actual operation.

01 / Match the bit to the job
Choose a suitable size and confirm that your drill chuck grips the shank securely. Disconnect power before fitting the bit. Clamp and support the workpiece.
02 / Make the starting hole
Use a speed and setup appropriate for the material, following the tool instructions. Keep the bit aligned and avoid forcing it through the workpiece.
03 / Adjust the opening
Use the serrated sides only when the drill, bit and material are suitable for side-cutting. Work with light pressure and stop if the bit binds. Stop the tool before checking the fit or clearing debris.

Work safely: Wear eye protection, secure the workpiece and keep hands clear of the rotating bit. Do not wear gloves near rotating tools.

One design, different jobs

Drill. Widen. Shape.

A drilling tip and serrated sides give you more than one way to work on a small opening.

Drill

Use the tip to make a starting hole in suitable material.

Widen

Use the serrated section to give a small opening more room.

Shape

Work on short slots and small cutouts where the setup allows.

Small projects, practical possibilities

For the Jobs That Need a Little Shaping.

Keep the set nearby for small woodworking, plastic-part and light sheet-material projects.

Material examples. Suitability depends on hardness, thickness and tool setup.

Wood Projects

Adjust small openings in suitable thin boards and craft pieces.

Plastic Parts

Work on small cutouts in compatible plastic pieces.

Light Sheet Work

Check the exact alloy and thickness before working on thin aluminum or steel sheet.

Match the material first: This is not a universal cutting set. Confirm suitability before use, especially for metal. Use dedicated tooling when compatibility is uncertain.

Know what is included

Six Sizes. One Toolbox-Friendly Set.

Each set includes one bit in each of six metric sizes—not six copies of the same size.

A Few Useful Answers.

What makes these different from a regular drill bit?
They combine a drilling tip with serrated sides. On suitable materials and with an appropriate tool setup, the side section can widen and shape an opening after drilling.
Will these fit my drill?
Check that your chuck securely accepts the round shank of the selected bit and that your tool allows the intended operation. Do not assume compatibility with every drill or impact driver.
Can I use them on metal?
For thin aluminum or steel sheet, confirm suitability for the specific alloy, thickness and drill setup before use. Do not assume compatibility with hardened metal or heavy-duty cutting.
Does this replace a saw or router?
No. Treat it as a set for small drilling and shaping tasks, not a replacement for every dedicated saw, router or milling cutter.
Do I receive all six sizes?
Yes. One set contains one each of the 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 6.5 mm and 8 mm bits. A drill is not included.
How should I care for the bits?
Disconnect the tool before removing the bit. Let it cool, clean away debris and store it dry. Inspect before each use and do not use a damaged bit.
